"Room was amazing - clean, quiet, comfortable, updated - one of the best I've stayed in yet! Unfortunately, the breakfast brought down the rating - it was so disappointing and quite frankly, awful. The eggs were cold and rubbery, and someone added salt and pepper when cooking - that's a problem. There were no other protein options, besides a tiny slice of ham, and no fresh fruit besides old bananas and apples. "

"The Stay Pittsburgh property should state more clearly on the website about their two locations: the main door pictured here that has elevator access and the side door around the corner (not pictured) from the vape shop that does not have an elevator. We three ended up on the no-elevator side of the property. While the 2 BR accommodations on the fourth floor was spacious, we were disappointed to learn that we didn't have a kitchenette with a stove. We also didn't have a working microwave. While we appreciated the pluggable hot water kettle, there were no tea bags and no instant coffee. Just coffee pods more suitable for Keurig machines. The hallway and staircases leading up to the apartment smelled of marijuana that apparently seeps in from outside. We did appreciate the prompt responses with the property owners regarding needing a third set of towels for the third guest. Due to our late arrival, we did receive them in the morning. The showerhead was leaky and the presence of hot water was inconsistent. If you are looking for a no-frills, affordable stay in downtown Pittsburgh with a 24/hour convenience store across the street, Amazing Books and Starbucks (opens at 5 AM) within a few short blocks on foot.
