"We stayed four nights. Relaxing! A beautiful and historic part of Ireland! We were spoiled by the lavish morning breakfast. The property is great for evening walks past the cows and award-winning sheep (with their dog who accompanied us). Jean, the hostess, pointed us in the right direction every day to view castles and countryside. We learned the history of the area! This was our favorite laid-back stay in Ireland!"

"We stayed 2 weeks. We loved it! If you have never driven in Ireland, I recommend staying off the roads that start with an R as much as possible. This place has two ways in and out of for sight seeing. When you exit the gate, turn left. Best way to go anywhere. The place is quiet, and very comfortable! Mel, the owner was amazing and very quick to answer questions and tend to our needs. This place has everything, so not much was needed. Shopping is less than 4 miles away. Food and Kilkenny, are not much farther. The shower in Mews 1, is the best shower we have ever had in a Vrbo! When we were not traveling, it was amazing to sit outside on the couches and relax. Many nights we played cards with drinks. Peaceful and quiet! The black cat is very friendly! It has an old cottage look and feel to it. We loved it! In Kilkenny, we recommend Mat the Millers for food and drinks! The fish and chips and Guinness stew were our favorites! You will not leave hungry. We also recommend Ryanโ€™s bar! Itโ€™s a fun place with live music . Lots to see and do in the area. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for having us Mel!"
