"Beautifully appointed and spacious room, stunning views of the beach, beautiful new furniture which included two chairs (many hotels only give a single chair), a table and a sofa, nice bed, large TV with access to all free-to-air channels which we watched sipping top quality tea. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and even allowed us a slightly later checkout. They told us in advance that their pool was under renovations but we could have free access to the Scarborough Pool next door which is a lovely pool complex."

"The room was outdated and needs upgrading. The restaurant was inadequately staffed by in experienced servers. On one night we both received meals that were not exactly what we ordered and on another night I had a long hair in my food. Apparently it was the food suppliers fault as the chef was bald! The location of the hotel is so good as it is on the beach but it's just out of town so you do need to drive . The bar area did not seem to be used at all ."
