Two Rivers Trip

"Did not get the room we reserved. We reserved a suite with city view. Only stayed here for the kids to have the view. We got stuck on a low floor facing the back street. Hotel did nothing about it. Asked to speak with manager, never got a response."

"This is a new hotel. Great location within walking distance to The Newport on the Levee community. Lots of food options in the area. Hot Breakfast each day. 2 restaurants. The lobby bar/grill has a sweet happy hour. DO take advantage! The rooftop bar is awesome and huge. Enough space/seating for everyone. Room was clean. Stove top and Full size fridge. Utensils/pots/pans/plates etc. Close to bus stop. Had a great time. Would definitely return"

"The staff were more than accommodating letting us check in early and worked with us on a couple concerns. First concern: lots of construction going on, dead bolt on door not in working order, and bathroom door slides with no latch or lock. Second concern: bedding was significantly stained. The GM offered to refund our stay if we chose to leave and bedding was promptly changed to clean linens. Ultimately, we stayed and had a comfortable stay with hot coffee in the morning!"
