Theres a nice lawn with a lake view at the back of the motel rooms which is a lovely spot to finish the day with a good book and cold drink. Otherwise, we had a friendly welcome on our arrival, a nice walk along the lake and everything we could want from a motel room.

Room is clean, location is away from town center but next to the river so it is good. Staff is very helpful and polite. The only minor issues is the kitchenette only provides electric fry pan and it is old and dirty. It will be good to provide at less a stove, a frypan and a saucepan

Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park was a great choice for our family. The kids had a blast playing in the playground with other kids and exploring the park grounds and the lake. We were surprised by the Rosehip cottage in the best way. The cottage is very spacious with two separate bedrooms, a generous size bathroom and the washing machine was very convenient. We’d definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Cute and quiet accommodation. I had a decent sized cabin all to myself. Washrooms were well serviced, and they offer you a box with kitchen supplies upon check in. I liked that my cabin had a fridge and kettle.

The room is a bungalow in a camp site. The room is basically a bedroom. Toilets and showers are separate and common for the rest of the camp site. The bed was comfy. Parking place right in front of the bungalow.
