Nice comfortable apartment overlooking the beach. Great location. The room is on the third floor with no lift so stairs may be a problem for some.

Close to beach. Nice Large Bath , But is not Spa bath as doesn't work ( start button Inoperative). Shower good, nice pressure. Bedding is very good. Nice Day Bed outside. Pool is good for you too cool down. No lifts, 4 flights of stairs. When we Booked paid for all Nights booked through Expedia. ( We spoke to Expedia on line about Kingscliff Accommodation Extra Charges, they don't know why Then had to Pay Extra with Kingscliff Accommodation. Called to ask why, they don't know why. Told the Manager will call us. Did not call or email. This Review is a Genuine response to others wanting book so they know what to expect.

An ok getaway

We were disappointed as I didn’t read the accommodation details properly so we had no wifi and it had cable tv with foxtel but no password supplied and the air conditioner packed up after 3 hours so the unit was quite cool I rang the number supplied and and it was a recoded message stating they’d get back to me but didn’t also unfortunately because of the terrible weather we couldn’t utilise the balcony with the amazing ocean views because it had several leaks in the ceiling so on the positive side the room was spacious ,the bed was comfy the spa was great and the water pressure in the shower was really strong too ,I’d love to stay again the warmer months but the stairs were to hard on my partner and quite dangerous again because of the weather the stairwells were wet and slippery

room had extremely strong cigarette smell. next door property were so noisy, you can hear everything. location was great, everything you need just downstairs like cafes, restaurants and chemist. ended up having to buy a diffuser to make room smell nice. they also need to upgrade tvs.

Unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience - when confirming accommodation the day before I was advised there was no parking onsite however on the ad which stated parking available however I was told that this type of room doesn’t have parking. It was aadvertised as a 1bedroom place & is actually a studio which states this on the actually apartment website but on Wotif it’s advertised as a 1bedroom. We have a new born baby & there was no way I would have booked a place without parking & a studio. On Check In was told that there was an issue with the screen door not being on tracks - it was actually the Glass Door off the tracks – there is no screen door there. It was good that the gentleman did come up straight away & we were able to put back onto the tracks however the rollers are stuffed & it’s a struggle to actually open the door with making the worst noise or making it come of the rails again. The comment from the gentleman was yeah rollers are stuffed & we’ll have to get replaced. A long with that one of the two chairs on the balcony with the table was broken with no pin in the legs which my wife sat on & nearly fell over… In all this made the balcony not really usable.. Then there was the cold tap on the ONLY sink in the place which was in the bathroom which didn't really work either & we had to take water from the bath taps. This was a special occasion with for our first holiday with our bub & for a for this to happen was disappointing.

The location of the apartment was great. Walking distance to most things & opposite the beach. We had a parking spot in the secure garage at $20.00 a night. If you have a small to medium size vehicle it is great but anything larger is a squeeze.There is free parking opposite the apartment which is far better than the garage. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen, dining & lounge areas are ma good size space along with the balcony the bedrooms are small. The wardrobe in the main bedroom wasn't able to be used as the hot water system is in there! The unit is dated & wasn't very clean. There is an awning over the main bedroom window which is ripped & looks like it has for a long time & it flaps in the wind. It needs replacing or to be completely removed. I will stay at Kingscliff again but wouldn't recommend these apartments.

Stayed at the property with another couple and a friends. We arrived at 8:30pm and by 9.:30pm we had a noise complaint for being on the balcony. We had a kid free night and must have been talking too lound, we had no music on. half an hour later we got a second and got told to go inside and shut all the doors and windows. We went to bed at 11:30pm. The following morning on looking every cupboard had drips of something. The bath had drown stains around it like a dirty mop is used, we found the mop bucket

Confusing

There seem to be a few discrepancies between what is shown on Hotels.com and what the accommodation actually offer. Hotels.com show that payment can be made upon arrival yet when we arrived payment had already been taken along with a 1.5%fee. Parking is shown as free on Hotels.com but we were charged for parking. We couldn't access internet and although promised this would be looked into it never was. We raised all of these issues with management and parking fee was refunded but not the positive experience I want while on hols. FYI if you drive a large car check the parking before you pay for it, it's very tight and we ended up parking on the street anyway.

safety issues

Very disappointing, as we were on the 1st floor with lovely views which we were enjoying a man jumped up on the floor which was eye level for us.. walked over and said hi then jumped onto the next roof where he climbed into a window of friends it seems that were having a party that went to 4 am. The party didn't worry us so much it was the sense of unease and safety

Great stay in Kingscliff

We rented a king bed room with ocean views and whilst our stay was good overall, some small improvements could make a huge difference. The biggest difference would have been cleanliness as a lot of dust around appliances and the shower was not as clean as it should be. Great jetted tub and comfortable bed. Sliding doors needed Maintenance along with the front door which was attended to during the stay after we reported it. Whilst there was ample storage for clothes the wardrobe had zero coat hangers and the space was largely occupied by an ironing board and vacuum (we ended up buying coat hangers). Again little things yet attention to detail will make this a real ‘boutique’ apartment. Location cannot be beaten and there were no noise issues. Parking was available across the street in the beach Carpark at no cost. Plunge pool was also a great amenity. We would definitely come back and stay again.

YES WE WOULD COME BACK

Yes, we would return here for a stay. It is in a great position opposite beach. There is a restaurant below which was not operating during our stay. Described as a deluxe property - it is very much in original condition probably about 20+ years in age and showing signs of wear. Outside blinds were torn and metal frames damaged causing them to bang against bedroom window even in light wind. TV Premium channels - Foxtel connection did not work and remote controls encrusted with soil build up. Huge balcony was great but floor needed a mopping and dirt build-up removed from glass side panel base. Despite these and other deficiencies, we found the place very convenient and suitable for our needs and worth the money we paid.

Room was beautiful. Tried to contact reception 3or4times during our 5 day stay, they never answered and never called back to the messages we left. Very annoying especially when it's not even located within the hotel.

Location is excellent. Right on the sea front, close to shops/ restaurants. Getting into the property was a bit of a hassle - directed from one property to another. Would be OK if you are travelling by car; less convenient if arriving by taxi/ public transport. Signage on property obscure from street level. Customer serviece was pleasant and responsive though front desk only staffed 10am- 4pm.

We loved the position of the apartment, close to the beach, cafes, shop and views were amazing. Could have been cleaner, instructions for foxtel/TV would have been hardy. Fridge needs defrosting. Lots of stairs but was good exercise. Overall, would definately stay again
