Blue Bay

Blue Bay

8/10 Good
"Amazing location and views across the bay. The private beach was quiet and well maintained; loungers always available, along with use of canoes and pedalos. The snorkelling was great, clear, warm water. The facilities at Blue Bay are limited, it feels more like self catering apartments than a hotel - there is a ‘bar’ which is limited and was largely unoccupied and a ‘cafe’ which served breakfast and lunch, all at extra cost. There are a couple of restaurants, ranging from reasonably priced to very expensive, within 10 minutes walk - the hustle and bustle of Cefalù town is a 20 minute walk (some of which is along roads but is doable with care). In the heat, the walk is challenging but in cooler temperatures, fine."

"My first visit to Cefalù was fantastic. The views of the town and beach were amazing. Every evening we enjoyed a good walk to the old town, which took about 15-20 minutes. The beach was rocky but we spent most of our time at the swimming pool. The boys had a great time and made new friends to play with. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of croissants in different flavours. Our room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us and had good air conditioning. The only downside was the poor WiFi connection and the fridge taking ages to cool a bottle of water. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and I’ll definitely return."

"Great location. Easily walked to from the train station. Easy to walk to the beach. The room was clean and had a nice balcony. Everyone was great and communicative. Shout out to David the bartender who makes an amazing espresso martini and is just an overall nice guy who works from breakfast to bartending. I would definitely stay here again."

Ma&Mi Guest House

Ma&Mi Guest House

"This place is up higher than I had expected. The walk to dowtown is easy but I found the walk back up tough for my age. I took my car for the other days! We were 3 traveling together. Beds are comfortable. The toiletries are packages, so might be best to bring your own products otherwise I found the value to be very good."
