La piscine privée du chalet est inutilisable non fonctionnel et sans eau , la piscine commune est en mauvais état et n’est pas nettoyée, et la salle de bain était vraiment sale - robinet vert. De plus, le personnel ne parle pas un mot d’anglais. C’est vraiment dommage, car le lieu est superbement décoré et a un énorme potentiel. "Stayed one night at Royal Shanaya Villa, 3 bedroom. Loved the luxurious bed and private pool. It was clean and in great condition. The grounds of the property are amazing. The shuttle was quite fun! Contra: the river could be cleaned up. There is construction next to our villa."

"All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner."
