I stayed only one night (05-06 February 2023) after I missed a flight. The staff were friendly and my room was clean. They also have a nice airport shuttle that took me to airport for my 07:50 flight to Brussels the next morning.

Overrated on hotels.com. Bed was broken, like i was sleeping on a slope. Good place to stay but the reviews were misleading and overly priced.

The hotel was ok but I didn’t expect to deduct the cost directly from my credit card without my permission as I was planned to pay in cash instead, it was unpleasant experience and I won’t recommend your service any more.

Great Staff, good location for business
Fir a business trip this hotel is great. It's located in a well centered area, walking distance to all the places I needed to go. The service and the people were great and very accommodating.

IF YOU ARE NOT OF ARABIC DESCENT, DO NOT BOOK HERE. While we enjoyed the wait staff, the authentic Tunisian breakfast, and had a friendly interaction with the hotel owner, we were very disappointed by this hotel! The concierge and security who grabs your taxis for you scammed us out of a lot of money by colluding with the taxi driver to not use the meter upon check out. We had even asked the hotel to send our family postcards and we were not given correct change. It has been weeks since and our family still has not received the mail. Beware of smiles because they have no good intentions. Only want to rob you of your money. The older gentlemen are honest and hard working. It is the younger aged ones you have to be aware of.

Dear Sir First, thank you for selecting our hotel to spend your recent stay in Tunis. Also, Allow me to say that your message is full of unfair statements and stereotypes. The hotel staff, who , all of them, are working very hard to make our clients’ stay as pleasant as possible do not deserve such ill-founded accusations. Regarding the taxi charges, and as far as the hotel is concerned, are a non-issue as we do not know how much you were charged by the taxi drivers. Moreover, the late arrival of the taxi is due to the summer working hours in the country,which, combined with the high touristic season, unfortunately drastically limit the availability of taxis in the city. As for the postcards, it would be ridiculous to accuse the hotel staff of their late or non arrival to destination. This matter is exclusively of the competence of the post authority. With this message I just wanted to dispel any misunderstanding and to clear the responsibility of the hotel staff of all abusive accusations that have appeared in your statement. Lastly, it is unfortunate that you have not drawn my personal attention to the problems you may have encountered during your stay in our institution with the aim to help the hotel management to identify the staff who “want to rob you of your money “ and those that the hotel’s clients “have to ware of”. A comfortable room. I was caught out by the timing of my visit as the air conditioning only works as a heater until the summer; my room was very warn when I arrived and I had to open the windows to cool it down. Helpful staff and good food at the restaurant.

Fantastic value for money
This is a nice hotel that has a good restaurant that serves cold beer and wine. The rooms are really quiet, the views are not that great but it is central to downtown Tunis. I stayed here 5 years ago and the hotel is still consistent in its overall quality and courteous staff

Fantastic value for money in the heart of Tunis
The Hotel LeConsul is located in a downtown business area of Tunis. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, speaking English, French and Arabic. The hotel is not to far away from the Tunis zoological [ark and gardens, a good area to go for a quiet walk or jog in the parkland settings. There are also a few local restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooms are quite spacious with good air conditioning. All of the external windows are double glazed, so the roos are very quiet and you get a good night's rest. The restaurant serves a good variety of meals, plenty to choose from. Breakfast will suit most people's needs, a modest selection.

Nice hotel
Very pleased with the hotel. The room was good, the wifi good, and the neighbourhood was fine. The staff were very helpful when I needed a taxi. I was able to walk out and find food and drink. good value.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The area was very crowded. Difficult to get a taxi. The wi-if was not good in my room and I found another client complaining about it when I was complaining. The excuse was problem with the internet provider, which I do not think that they were telling the truth.
