"I recently stayed at Hyacinth Pension for a two-night trip to Tongyeong. While the view from the bay-facing rooms is lovely and there’s a charming coffee shop and gift store just down the hill, the condition of the property fell well below what was advertised. We rented a “Deluxe Duplex,” and sadly saw visible water damage, the bathroom was damp with long term mold and a rotting door. The steep internal staircase had no handrail, and the sleeping mezzanine had no accessible light switch—an...

"Hotel is not close to anything that was open, the classy bar closed in operable, no cafe. Dark dingy halls like creepy dark. Front desk attendant spoke little English and was not very helpful. We booked 2 nights, but I could not wait to get out of there!"

Everyone had plenty of space to relax, and the living room was big enough for all of us to eat, play games, and spend time together. The experience was wonderful—the surroundings were beautiful, and the whole place felt peaceful and serene. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and always responded quickly. Highly recommend this place."
