Sitting in your own private pool to view the wildlife was the cherry on top. Even though you're in a secluded area, Manyatta Camp offers extremely reasonable prices for their food and drinks. You can always walk to Voi Wildlife Lodge for more options and viewing opportunities. Lastly, the staff here will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is perfect. I can't speak highly enough about them. Superb service all around. Waking up to hear the sound of birds greeting the sun was so memorable. I loved my stay, and think others would too."

"From the moment we arrived at Salt Lick Safari Resort, we knew we were in for something special. Checking in and immediately seeing an elephant drinking water up close was a moment of true healing and set the tone for our entire stay. The grounds of the resort are gorgeous, and our room had an amazing view of the watering hole, providing constant wildlife viewing right from our balcony. The staff were super friendly and incredibly accommodating throughout our visit. We enjoyed several game drives, but the Bushdown Dinner was the greatest experience of my life! Being warmly greeted by a local tribe and burning a lot of calories dancing was unforgettable. Overall, I highly recommend Salt Lick Safari Resort, especially if you want the chance to see animals up close and personal. It's a truly unique and unforgettable escape."

"A very nice property with stunning natural scenes. We saw elephants every evening because there's a waterhole in front of the dinning area. Staff are friendly and attentive. Considering its rate is much lower than those accommodations inside of Tsavo but still easily to access to the largest national park in Kenya, it's a very cost-effective stay."
