"Coming from Devon and knowing I'd have an overnight stay in Treliske hospital we needed somewhere for my partner to stay that night and for both of us to stay at least one night after that before facing the drive back home.
Donnington House could not have been more ideal, I chose it initially as it was only about six minutes drive from the hospital.
The manager was able to give us a ground floor 'family' room which had a fridge (essential in the heat wave at the time) it also had a microwave. The en-suite was small but the shower was efficient with plenty of hot water.
There is a Lidl directly opposite and a Sainsbury with petrol station just along the road. The road, although busy, was not noisy.
The day I arrived there I decided I would probably need an extra night an and fortunately this was able to be arranged without any fuss.
