Ox Hotel Carlisle
Very clean budget hotel. Comfortable bed, good linen and towels. Only problem is there are no bedside lights or lamps in the room and main light is very bright, so had to keep the bathroom light on for subdued lighting.

Have stayed here previously and really enjoyed our stay. Again, enjoyed our stay and love how handy it is to walk into Bowness. Property is okay, was expecting a patio room but had a room on the second floor. Room was clean and fridge freezer did work, once I realised that it had been unplugged by the previous person that stayed in the room. Cleaning staff were very friendly. The Halston
Excellent property. Exceptionally clean, great customer service and The Penny Blue Restaurant, Bar and Breakfast were all 5 star. Our rooms were great too, cannot fault The Halston.
