"This is a fabulous place and we loved our 2 day stay. The staff were great on the whole but could have sold us a lot more wine if they had wanted to. However we really liked the laid back vibe. It's extremely dog friendly and the food was exceptional. We will definitely come back. The cleanliness was generally good but the massive old building must be hard to maintain and keep clean.. The views are amazing and the history fascinating. There are many interesting war monuments nearby. The Tranchées de Soif was moving. Real trenches still there from WWI."

"I stayed here as a stopover while driving down to Italy and it was perfect for this: simple, unpretentious, with a utilitarian room but with a big bed and a good shower. The only glitch for me was that Hotels.com didn't send me the login code and it took me a long time to find it - eventually it popped up when i tried to cancel."
