The B&B is in the perfect location! Near all the restaurants and bars as well as the different beaches. Checkin was easy. The room was fantastic! A great view, a couch, a great bathroom and a really comfortable bed. It’s so quiet too! We slept really well here. Sonia does a great job cleaning the rooms too!

Incredible view and extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Can be a very busy area but the room is soundproof when you close the windows, so you can still get a good and peaceful rest at any time of day.

Had a really great stay at Il Duca. We arrived to Tropea with stormy conditions so we had to spend a lot of time in the hotel. Room was very nice, very specious and comfortable. Very close to Tons of restaurants and shops and a great view of the Grotto. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tropea.

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! Located at the top of the stairs to the beach and easy access to all the restaurants and shops as they are all walkable. No car needed as we took the train and simply walked to the property. Nice breakfast each day. The rooms were clean, large, and we selected one with a balcony that has sea views.

A Hidden Gem in Tropea 🌟 Our stay at Il Duca Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family. Sonya went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always with a smile. Franca greeted us with warmth and made sure we felt right at home in the beautiful surroundings of Tropea. 2 night Oct break

Nice top floor room with balcony at this small B&B of maybe 5/6 rooms. Overlooking the historical centre and down to the sea on the left. Great for access to the centre for shops and restaurants or down the steps to the beaches. Claudia super helpful , plenty of breakfast options. In the limited traffic area so had to park 400mtr away but quiet in Oct so no issues. Would stay again.

The room was exceptional. King bed, comfortable, beautiful pillows, right at the foot of the stairs to go down to the beach. Breakfast was great. Claudia, was so helpful and attentive. She brought out heavy luggage up all the stairs. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again to Il Duca.

Loved this place its wonderful. Location and views are perfect. Our one gripe is the fan comes on with the bathroom light and it is annoyingly noisy. Its just a small point in an otherwise wonderful place. Claudia was ever so helpful at check-in and during our stay. She even prepared some food for us because we had to leave on our final day before breakfast.

We loved our stay here, it was perfect. Claudia was kind, attentive and incredibly helpful. My room was even better than I expected with incredible views. Note, there are stairs to contend with and you can’t drive up to the hotel, I anticipated all of this. Also incredibly helpful was Franca, who helped me months before when booking an extra night. Plus, there was always a home made addition to breakfast that Franca made. Breakfast was simple but plenty and not lacking for us. Definitely would come back and recommend !

Great place to stay

Fantastic location. At the top of the steps to the beach. Great to see the sea from the balcony area. Steep steps up to the rooms but worth it. Quite and comfortable. An excellent breakfast, the best so far this trip.
