"Loved the location, staff, comfort of room, nice quality linens and bedding. My room, 418 needs renovations. I understand there are other rooms that are in much better condition. If I were to come back, I'd ask for a renovated room. Special kudos: the breakfast staff, especially the manager are outstanding. Loic at the front desk is wonderful:)"

"The adult section of the property was very nice. I do wish there was staff that spoke a little more English it was sometimes difficult to understand. Although o used a translator i was still able to communicate. Staff was friendly and very attentive. "

"The property has a great view, Christopher was very friendly and try hard to speak English. Downside the property is on a hill and the access is about 30 degrees incline, not good for people with health issues. No elevator on the property. Need a car if you really want to take advantage of the beautiful scenery. If going print the route before, GPS is not precise and locals don't speak English. Area is very nice and great restaurants, be patience they are not in a rush, meals can take about 30...

"The unit is very simple but adequate. It is the perfect location right on the beach with great restaurants that are walkable and a grocery store very close. Don't miss the patisserie that is a 200 yard walk! We didn't use it but there is a frequent ferry across to FDF so this is a great base to see the town without actually staying there. Would definitely recommend it. "

"We had a four nights stay at Hotel Bakoua, and we loved the proximity to the ocean and the coconut bar where you could get drinks and food during the day while you were on the beach! Loungers and umbrellas on the beach were really nice and the beach was clean and not crowded. The hotel was a little old and needed some updates. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were nice although there was a drought and we didn’t have water one night! They gave us plenty of bottled water!...

"STAY AWAY! When I arrived at 11am from the airport, the rude staff refused to allow me to leave my suitcase, relax by the pool or even remain on the property until the official check-in time of 3pm, unless I sat in the bar. Even the tiniest hotels in Paris do this for guests with reservations, and check them in as soon as a room is ready.
