"This is an excellent property. Very historic, rustic and with great views across the Tuscan landscapes. Lorenzo and his mother were super duper hosts who took great care of us. The property dates back to 1380 and the rooms are decorated with choicest artifacts that adds greatly to the experience. The location is fantastic too with the local market and restaurants in easy walking reach. The breakfast service is fabulous with many choices and Lorenzo himself is great chef as well! Highly recommend...

Only complaint which is not a great one is that it was too digital - the front door & room key were down for most of a day (creating an hassle because of the lack of onsite staff) and the wifi was down for 2 days, leading to inconvenience. "This is a lovely, clean hotel with wonderful staff and only a 7-minute walk from the T2 Valfonda Stazione Santa Maria Novella Tram Stop and the train station. It’s on a very quiet street but within three minutes of restaurants and shopping. The nice-sized rooms are decorated in traditional style but are so well maintained and spotless, as is the whole hotel. Oh, and the room air conditioning is POWERFUL! We would stay here the next time we visit Firenze!"
