Great location for doing things in center of Trieste, Grand Canale and City Plaza. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice-sized rooms and great breakfasts in quaint dining area. Parking about two blocks away uphill but in super-nice garage. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely property in a very central location, with a great breakfast. The parking is nearby, but is not free. The staff are friendly and the room we were in was small but very nicely decorated. The room had a small fridge and coffee maker with coffee capsules provided. Coffee or a beer outside at Caffe degli Specchia on Piazza Unita d'Italia in the sunset is a pleasure and there's a nice bistro a little further east on one of the small streets.

The hotel was great. The location is ideal for exploring Trieste, the room was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. All of the front desk staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I would love to come back again!

A charming little hotel so close to the main squares of the city, and yet on a quieter street. While the room was small, it had all the necessary amenities, and was just fine for one night. The breakfast was generous and tasty. All in all, it was the perfect balance of quality for the price.

perfectly fine hotel in Trieste. Good bed and shower. Only wonky thing is that the elevator stops at landings between floors... so you are either humping up or humping down your suitcase for 1/2 a floor.

Great hotel a block from the Roman Amphitheater and easy walking to the harbour and all the restaurants. My one complaint with the AC didn’t cool the room very well and they only provided sheets and no blankets.

Excellent spot for a stay pre or post cruise
We had a couple of nights stay here before boarding a cruise departing from Trieste and could not have been happier. Very clean and comfortable accommodation within a pretty easy walk to to the cruise terminal (and less than a ten euro taxi ride from the train station). Good breakfast. Reception was very helpful with luggage storage and printing off cruise documents.

Fabulous small hotel very close to the cruise port and other tourist attractions. Modern room which was spotless with a lovely big bathroom and mini fridge. Great air conditioning which was needed! Staff were very friendly and the breakfast better than we expected. Overall highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay in Trieste and the hotel was a plus factor. The room was an adequate size as was the bathroom. The location was excellent for walking to the main plaza, restaurants and the waterfront. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and fresh made coffee made to order was a nice touch. One thing is if you have lots of luggage the elevator does not stop at each floor. It is one stairway above so the luggage still has to be carried down some stairs.

The staff here are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a good variety, but no hot options. It was included with our booking, so I felt was very good value. The very lovely barista makes drinks to order and they had lactose free milk. It’s very close to many restaurants, shops and a quick walk to the water or castle. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the train station. The rooms were very clean and seemed to be fairly recently renovated. They only had sheets on the beds and the evening staff couldn’t provide blankets. The temperature was a bit challenging to control. The walls are very thin and you hear the plumbing noises from other rooms. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Overall though, would definitely stay again.

It was a very comfortable and clean haven after 4 days of flights. The breakfast was superb in quality and choice of foods available. I have no complaints whatsoever, and will always remember the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. I heartily recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely property well situated for exploring Trieste. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. As it is located in an old building, be aware that the elevator is one-half floor above reception and rooms. In my room there was a sizable step up to the bathroom --just another thing to be aware of.

Loved everything about the hotel
The room was newly renovated, clean comfortable with everything we needed. There was a coffee machine in the room that worked perfectly , a gorgeous huge bathroom with rain shower, and amenities. The bed extremely comfortable , everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful and friendly. They recommended very good restaurants and made reservations for us based on our requests. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. Overall we loved our experience! Will recommend and come back !
