"Als Erstes beim Check-in wurde ich gefragt, ob ich die deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit besitze – offenbar wegen meines Akzents. Eine irritierende Frage: Unwissen, Bürokratie oder unterschwelliger Rassismus?
Die Unterkunft selbst ist für eine einzelne Übernachtung durchaus in Ordnung. Für einen längeren Urlaub würde ich sie nicht empfehlen. Die Ausstattung ist zwar grundsätzlich vorhanden, Kaffeemaschine (ohne Pads) und Wasserkocher stehen bereit, wirkt jedoch in vielem veraltet.

"Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne....
