"I feel the ocean view on our villa #1 Rustico was a bit deceiving. You can catch a glimpse of the horizon from the kitchen window or living room window but I wouldn't call it an ocean view. Some walls were pretty dirty, with makeup and handprints in certain areas, could use a touch of paint. The shower head and water pressure was not good. The coffee maker and wifi didn't work right, and the window shades need to be changed, I opened one and there was a dead crane fly in it along with questionable stains. Sofa bed is not good, don't even think about sleeping on it. I understand ocean=rust and corrosion but for the price, the upkeep needs to be stellar. For the good things, location is incredible- 10/10. Mattress and pillows were comfy. The floor was clean. The shared patio is steps away and has the best view. There is great potential in villa #1 but for now the other units seem to be better."

"We stayed at this property about five times in the last 20 years they have new owners in the last few years they now charge almost $50 a day to park your car along with the hotel c we should not include the $50 days for the car. We had a beach view hotel room which now the bar restaurant next door expanded around the bottom of the hotel and they have a party till 10:00 p.m. the first night we stayed very loud loud talking it was not a peaceful stay not enjoyable stay for the price for peace and privacy I did not get. I know it's a beach view and there's people on the beach but I didn't expect the bar to have a banquet ride underneath my room till 10:00 p.m. not happy!!!!!"

"Beds are entirely too high. Uncertain why they are that high. Walls are paper thin and I heard the man next door snoring. They do provide earplugs. No pool. Trash cans are highly accessible. One evening a new guest asked me if I worked there when I went to the front to fill a water bottle. She was waiting at front desk to check in for a longer time than she expected. Turns out the clerk was chatting in another guest room for about 20/30 minutes. The new guest was pretty stressed. "

"Booked the hotel mostly because of the rooftop bar but it was closed on Saturday due to a party. Did get to enjoy it on Sunday. Food was just ok but view is fantastic. If I was to stay in Laguna again someday, I would stay away from the Main Street as it's way too noisy from bikes and cars racing up and down the street all day and night. Room itself was pretty nice with a great balcony. Staff were a friendly. Parking was a half a block away but still very convenient."

"Our stay was incredible! The wine and cookies did not disappoint! The spa and pool were both awesome and the view off our back porch overlooked the city and ocean. The walk along the boardwalk was incredible in both directions. The ocean views are so memorable!"
