"Stayed here for 3 weeks by myself, hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful. My room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Their laundry room and fitness room were really nice. Only complaints I have about the hotel was the noise and the smell of weed. Walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything that happens in the hallways and you can hear your neighbors. Unfortunately, guests kept smoking weed and it would creep out into the hallway and make its way into my room. I told staff and they were very apologetic and tried to help, but some guests are just super rude and inconsiderate of others. But I would definitely stay here again if I had to."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Clarion in Fort Collins and felt it was a great value for the price. The property is definitely older, but it has a unique charm that sets it apart from many of the typical hotels in the area. The large indoor pool area, surrounded by impressively large and healthy plants, gives the hotel a character you don't often find anymore. Our room was clean and had some updates, although, as you would expect with a hotel of this age, there were signs of wear and tear. The property clearly has a lot of potential, but a few things detracted from the experience. The restaurant and bar were not open during our stay, and carpet renovations were underway, which took away from the overall atmosphere. That said, for what we paid, we were very pleased. I wouldn't recommend paying premium hotel rates to stay here, but at a reasonable price, it offers excellent value. In fact, I would say it is noticeably nicer and more interesting than most of the other hotels clustered around the Mulberry Street and I-25 interchange. With some continued improvements and a fully operational restaurant and bar, this property could really be something special. We'd certainly consider staying again at the right price."
