"This hotel is very much a boutique hotel. No elevator or air conditioning but still a very nice and clean room. The decor is shabby chic and bedding is comfortable. The included breakfast is not as much as we have had at other hotels during this trip but a quick yogurt and coffee and croissant does the trick. The staff was very friendly and even took our bags up to our room for us. FYI the parking is not real sat either which was nice."

Not fancy or luxurious, but clean and comfortable and great location. Made day trips to Jungfraujoch and Lauterbrunnen, which are both worth your time, but require full days. Wish we had done the paragliding big time and weather didn’t permit."

"Like going back in time. Classical European hotel. Had a gorgeous spacious suite. Bathroom fixtures were a bit dated and the shower/tub was unusually high and difficult to get in and out of. But location was fantastic. 2 minute walk to take the funicular up to Harder Kulm. 3 minute walk to Interlaken Ost train station. Plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. If you are looking for a hotel in the central Interlaken area this is a very nice option."
