Good option for a family stay with a separate sleeping area for the children - one of the 2 single beds suitable for smaller kids. Breakfast was coffee and pastries - a savoury option would have been nice. Centrally located - great for access to harbour area but a little noisy on a Friday night.

Train - unexpectedly beautiful city

We never realised that Trani was such a beautiful fishing village with an amazing history. The apartment is ideally located on the water front in this historic area. The hosts were great to deal with and very helpful - thanks

Great B&B

B&B Terra del Sole is a great place to stay in Trani. It is very conveniently situated by the harbour, a short walk to everywhere in the historic center and just a 10 minute walk to the railway station. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet, with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Lisa, who runs the B&B with her sister Anna, is a wonderfully welcoming, friendly and attentive host. We met her every morning in the downstairs breakfast room, where we had not only an excellent breakfast (including great coffee) but also many opportunities to talk with her about Trani and Puglia, from which we learnt a great deal. Many thanks, Lisa!

Super Hotel, direkt am Hafen

Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe, sehr nett eingerichtet. Herzlichen Dank an die super netten Gastgeberinnen, Anna und Lisa, die sich sehr gut um ihre Gäste kümmern. Das B&B liegt direkt am Hafen, eine Vielzahl von Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Trani sind mit einem Spaziergang entlang des Hafens gut zu erreichen. Auch Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Wir wünschen Anna und Lisa noch viele Gäste.

Hébergement au coeur de la vieille ville

Appartement très bien situé et très spacieux. On peut regretter l'absence de clim par ces chaleurs (il y a une clim mais pas de commande pour la mettre en marche). Ce qui est compliqué c'est d'arriver en voiture, le quartier est fermé à partir de 20 heures. Il faut se donner rendez-vous avec le propriétaire ce qui oblige à arriver à une heure assez précise. De ce fait nous n'avons pas fait toutes les visites prévues sur notre trajet avant d'arriver à Trani. Sinon très bon accueil du propriétaire et possibilité, moyennant un petit supplément de mettre sa voiture en sécurité dans un boxe en ville. Le propriétaire se charge de vous y emmener et de vous ramener à votre appartement.

Siamo stati per tre notti e ci siamo trovati bene, per l'ampio spazio a disposizione e per la posizione centrale del B&B. Dalla nostra esperienza abbiamo rilevato che, a seconda del momento, la vita notturna nel porto di Trani può essere lunga. Inoltre le spesse mura dell'edificio isolano dal calore esterno, cosa non del tutto positiva nella mezza stagione, se manca il riscaldamento interno.

Beatiful rooms, warm welcome, great location

A beautiful apartment (2 rooms) in an old house close to the harbour. The rooms are large and a small balcony opens onto a side street with a partial view of the harbour. The location is quiet and Lisa and her family were very welcoming, providing little extras like water and fruit on our arrival, candles and a thing for drying clothes on the balcony (very useful.) The breakfasts were served in the kitchen and comprised traditional Italian fare, good coffee and a genuine concern for the welfare of guests. Trani is a beautiful seaside town full of history, churches and a peaceful Villa Communale as well as a vibrant town centre. Although local facilities, restaurants and pasticcherias cater for tourists, the town is not dominated by tourism and is well recommended for a short stay.
