"The staff was so pleasant! The lodge itself was quaint and so pleasing! Most comfortable bed I've slept in, while staying away from home. Complimentary breakfast was well rounded. Overall so pleased with our stay, and will definitely recommend."

"First of all, both of their properties in Springfield Missouri are located on the same name street and I thought that I had booked at one and I guess I'd booked at the other and I had to do late check-in upon arrival there is a check-in phone located in their lobby for you to pick up for them to I guess contact the night attendant to check you in It took like 45 minutes for them to get an attendant to the front desk before I even knew that I was at the wrong location after dealing with that I went to the correct location and in their lobby they have the same thing a phone to call for late check-in their phone for late check-in did not work and by the time I finally figured out how to get a hold of someone through my cell phone and get their attendant to get to the front desk to check me in I waited probably upwards of the same amount of time about 45 minutes, by this point it was close to 3:00 in the morning. I finally get to my room and it smells horrible like stale cigarettes. Didn't even want to bother trying to be moved since it was just one night, So opened my window. On top of dealing with all of that, I had to go back down to my vehicle to grab a bag and had an encounter with an either very mentally disturbed individual having an episode, or possibly he was strung out on drugs. Nevertheless, he scared the daylights out of me, made me uncomfortable and then I get back in my room and the same man was outside right under the window I had to open. It was horrible!! "

"The room smelled like mold and cigarettes, and there was dust on the nightstands, which made it feel unclean. I did like the large shower area. I called to request a late checkout and was told it was fine. However, when I returned after breakfast, housekeeping had already stripped the room and removed towels. The front desk said they assumed I had checked out and did nothing to fix it—only apologized—leaving me without basic amenities for my remaining two hours."

"Booket two rooms with two queen beds, and they overbooked and gave one of my rooms away, and had to settle for a king with a sofa bed. Customer service offered breakfast, but we were specifically going to leave the next morning for breakfast. As a whole, there was no real work to make things right."

"Parking was easy, breakfast was just average. It was a convenient location and suitable room for the price. "

"The staff was courteous and friendly and the room was clean. The only complaint I have is that the room had some kind of odor that I couldn’t place. I didn’t complain about it because I wasn’t positive that it wasn’t just my sense of smell might have been off for some reason and the person that was staying with me didn’t say anything about it "
