"The Onsen was wonderful and relaxing, staff were extremely friendly and provided good services like a pickup/dropoff at the train station and a shuttle to the entrance to the Snow Monkey Park."

"This is a lovely ryokan. We had a private onsen but our adult children used the public one and liked it very much. The food was excellent but there was way too much. Nice to wander around the little town and stop at the excellent bakery near the train station."

"The staff was very kind and helpful. The suite was also very clean and spacious. This hotel is perfect for a small group trip. They offer a free shuttle service that you need to reserve in advance. Although I'd recommend renting a car if you'd like to explore different places near the hotel, the shuttle service helps a lot! My only regrets are that it rained during our stay and that we didn't book a long stay. You could definitely do 4 days or more! It's a beautiful hotel. "
