Overall is good and clean enough. Hotel Wifi is weak, barely works.

Although the staff were mostly able to speak English, many of the signs were only in Japanese. This included the instructions on the toilet and the kettle. Google came to the rescue and translated whatever we needed. The restaurant staff were very helpful and even gave us a tour of the extensive buffet the first evening. The hotel is very nice and has fantastic facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with great amenities. Staff are very friendly however are not really fluent in English... they know enough to get by but by no means equivalent to international hospitality standards, was not well enough. The biggest downside is the extremely limited room service menu (full menu options from the restaurants are not available for room service) and the only vegan item for room service is an extremely tiny...

Stayed for one night while going to Toba aquarium. Room was amazing very large and with a beautiful view of the sea. Staff were great very helpful the entire time. Hot drinks were free from a relaxing bar on the 1st floor. Breakfast was a Japanese style. Various different. Vegetables, fish and some fruit with rice, udeon and miso soup. Authentic Japanese experience!

Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...
