Small family run hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Buffet breakfast, with some cooked food available, never run out of anything, extra coffee offered. Dinner menu and wine list good. Gets very busy due to location opposite water taxis. There is also a bar with snacks attached for day time. Hotel has three floors and there is a lounge room on the 1st and 2nd floors with books and some games.

The location of this hotel is incredible. The views we had from our room were stunning and the staff were exceptionally helpful before and throughout the stay. I struggled a bit with getting to the hotel considering I landed so late at night and public transport was a bit sparse. But with better planning from me this would've been easy. There are a couple fantastic restaurants nearby and the boat transport was so simple and easy, as well as buses. I'd come here again in a heartbeat and couldnt...

The hotel was conveniently located so you could walk into como city, to the ferry stop or to the train station. The food was very nice, we had the hotel breakfast each day and also ate in 2 of the restaurants and at the poolside bar. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned with an evening turn service as well. The pool area was lovely, great pool with an amazing view of the lake plus very cold so great for cooling down after a hot day. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had a very happy time on Como. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and our room lovely, with balcony, but noisy road, of course. The Tavernola ferry stop is handy - we walked, cycled and sailed into Como town! The Lake is enchanting - with gorgeous views and noisy seaplanes. Our great disappointment was splashing out on dinner on our last night. The dining room is grand and all the service rather pretentious, but the food was by no measurement value for money. The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues.The Jersey Mob

This hotel is amazing and good value for money. Great location in the centre of town in the shopping district and just a short walk to the ferry terminal and the train stations. All the staff were very helpful and are able to offer tips on things to do in Como. The room was pleasant - nespresso machine, kettle and tea and coffee included. Our room was wheelchair friendly but we couldn’t access the terrace where breakfast was served and looked at the lake. The staff were very helpful getting breakfast sorted in our room though, but we didn’t have a view there. The hotel was in an amazing situation but the reception felt a little unfriendly but once settled we felt much more welcome. The staff were all friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendation and taxi booking too.

Very convenient to all the key sightseeing places, walking distance to the lake to book ferries to Bellagio, Verana, restaurants, shopping, railway station, bus station. Staff went out if their way to help with any queries, places to eat, visit etc, breakfast was arranged at another restaurant walking distance to the hotel. The rooms were ok very dark, small bathroom but lively hot shower, All rooms needed updating but very convenient to everything.

We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town.
