"Friendly and helpful reception staff, also the staff at breakfast, good choice at breakfast, the hot food wasn't hot but apart from that, very good. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. Parked on the road outside the hotel very convenient, there was an inviting pool but didn't get chance to use it, shame. Walking distance to the small town & the amazing early 20c station now being restored in to a luxury hotel. A great base for investigating the region."

"A nice property that with some tweaks could be really lovely. For instance there wasn’t a single vegetarian offering on the menu nor could we get a recommendation for a place to eat. Do four nights of driving around searching for food with little help from the hotel. We researched it and found an amazing place 10 minutes away which the staff at the desk knew about! So why didn’t they suggest it? A nice breakfast but flies were everywhere making us want to dine and dash. Wi-Fi almost didn’t ever...
