I was first put in a room that did not seem clean at all. after lugging all of my things upstairs (there was no elevator) my room was right in the middle of a construction zone. clearly there were renovations going on, but this was a real mess. I could hear the construction workers talking and working in almost every room around where my room was. I could hear them talking and going back and forth in the hallway outside of where my room was.
As soon as I walked in I could smell the room, It was very stuffy and smelled like a locker room.. the carpet was old and didn't seem clean at all, there were stains on the bedspread, and the tub didn't seem clean. the final straw was that the water wouldn't turn on. so I went downstairs and requested another room, which took awhile because only one person was working at the desk.. she did put me into a different room on the first floor, which was significantly better.... but still not great.
then after a long day I had to go back to the first room, and gather all my things, drag them back down the stairs to the new room which was way down the hall on the first floor .... during this time I found that my key would only work intermittently .... I then had to go back to the front desk and have her program a new key for me....this took awhile also.
finally, I was able to get settled.
the bed was not very comfortable, and the pillows were like mush...I used all six pillows that were there, and I may have well been using one or two
