5.0 star property
Zbiroh
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (79 reviews)
"Staying at Chateau Zbiroh was a wonderful and unique experience! Even the standard room was quite spacious, so there was no feeling of being cramped. Staying in a real castle is a special experience in itself, and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend joining the castle tour, as it gives you a much better understanding of the hotelโ€™s fascinating history and makes your stay even more meaningful. The restaurant was another highlight of our stay. The food...

"Listed as a โ€œLuxury Hotelโ€ - this is not a Luxury hotel. More a camping resort & SPA with rooms. There are often maintenance issues in a hotel, what matters is how they are handled. I expected the below to be resolved in hours, but it took three days: โ€ข Batteries in A/C (not actually air conditioning) remote - after asking 3 times was given the batteries out of the unit in reception. โ€ข No shower gel in shower - asked 3 times. Design issues: โ€ข Shower - no shelving, everything has to go on...

10/10 Excellent

Staff friendly. Hotel restaurant food good, you can walk around the castle in woods. Gardens really pretty. The only downside and this is why I marked the comfort down is that there was no air con. However even saying this, I stayed at the hight of Summer and it was not overly hot due to the high ceilings.
