The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed close to the pool. The pool area is lovely, with lots of loungers and sitting areas. We It’s open until 11 pm, so we went when the sun went down, as it wasn’t blazing hot. The pool is fed by geothermal activity, so it’s warm and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful and friendly, with lots of information about meals and amenities. We asked for a microwave and got one, as we came in with dinner. Dinner options on site were quite expensive, which we expected. We saw mixed reviews about the food in online reviews so we were prepared ! I tried at 2 different times to go to the store on site and both times the sole staff person was on a break so the store was closed. It’s obviously not a priority to have a relief person to cover off breaks and lunches. Not exactly customer focused so I took my shopping elsewhere."
