We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. The hostess was extremely kind, and friendly and the breakfast she made us (including some treats for the road) was a true act of kindness. " Large five story seafront hotel with probably seven acres of surrounding property. Beach was largely pebble with tiki shade/lounges and towel areas perhaps extending to 300 feet along the coast. Several areas designed for children seemed to be well maintained. The entire hotel has apparently been recently upgraded with new paint/tiling/balcony fixtures/etc. Room was average size with comfortable king bed and simple furniture from the 21st century. Breakfast was nice with numerous choices....

"This is a very nice hotel overall (close to town, beautiful grounds, wonderful staff) but it is located on a busy street with ongoing two-wheeler traffic, and the neighbor's dog who barks in the middle of the night. It took us ear plugs and sleeping pills in order to fall asleep. I want to reiterate how nice Maria and her staff was, but the fact remains that if you can't sleep while on vacation, it's a problem!"
