Hotel in a great location by the park and nice restaurants, however it’s a building site as it’s undergoing a huge renovation. Fortunately at the weekend, there was not a great deal of noise. It is a grand hotel, but dated. Lovely outdoor pool but from sun Ed you see scaffolding. Bathroom was tiny and 2* toiletries and towels. Breakfast was very good.

You provided wrong information about hotel: there is no room service 24 hours,restaurants are closed 10pm , hotel is not working under 5 star standard, insufficient personnel. And the price is standard as it is all under perfect conditions of 5 star hotel but is missing a lot!Even television didn’t worked we had to call technicians 2 times.pillows are old at least 20 years!

Lovely hotel but…..
The staff were fantastic and friendly. They accommodated us and our two dogs though the premium was a little steep at €50/night. Sadly the hotel was a building site, the indoor pool was closed which is one of the reasons we booked there. The shower had seen better days and the TV did not work well, no access to online stations. Most tv was Albanian which is fine but obviously couldn’t understand! Location was ideal for the dogs adjoining the park with lovely walks.

The started construction at the hotel and decided to keep the hotel functioning even though people and trucks have been working non-stop. Its very disappointing going for a vacation and having to deal with loud construction noises from 9:00PM-3:00AM. The staff was kind, just watch out with the euro conversion because they rip you off. The hotel may be nice but my experience wasnt that nice.

Utterly dissatisfied
The check in staff tried to increase the rate I was paying although they amount showing on my booking was different. He explained the spa facilities and the outdoor pool were still there although the hotel was having extensive building work and none of the facilities were open. The noise , the dust and the continuous building work as well as the truck and cement mixers were terrible. The work continues through the night and there is no peace or quiet for comfort sleeping. Absolute terrible hotel and will never book there again!

The hotel is dated and very dark,rooms are big ,comfortable,but you wouldn’t want to be in them for long periods unless asleep as they are quite depressing.Another issue is that it’s not branded as Mak Albania Hotel but as a Hyatt which is very confusing.There are many better places to stay than this place.

This property is old. I’m not even sure how it’s considered a 5 star hotel. Our room was dirty. There where no power outlets to charge our electronics, the mini bar fridge was broken, waste bin was broken and A/C didn’t put out enough air to cool the room. The pool was in terrible condition and there was basically no one working there at all. This hotel is really overpriced for what you get. However, the breakfast was okay. The coffee in the morning was good and the location of this hotel is excellent too. Overall I would not stay here again for the price. This is maybe a 3 star hotel at best.

Short stay
Easy pleasant check-in, very good room, quiet and comfortable. I didn't specify breakfast when I made the reservation (wasn't sure about the COVID restrictions), but at check-in was told it will be complementary. Great breakfast. I have used this hotel a lot before, when it was Sheraton, and the first time after it changed ownership. I will definitely aim to use it again on my travels to Tirana.

Lovely hotel. Maintenance needs more attention
The staff were very good the hotel was clean and the food was of good quality. My only small complaints are we advised reception that the air-conditioning was blowing out hot air. somebody came to the room, they told us to wait an hour and see if it was cooler. it wasn’t we complained again and they sent a service engineer, he pressed a couple of buttons on the unit told us again to wait 10/20 minutes but it was still blowing out warm air. we told the reception again but it didn’t get resolved. We wasn’t able to use the air conditioning during our whole stay. The second issue I had on my departure: the room that I paid for included breakfast and access to the lounge where soft drinks and beverages were included but I was charged on my departure for water and Pepsi out of my minibar which I must add in the lounge it’s free. I queried this but was told I had to pay.

Perfect stay
Very good location next to the park and the city center. Rooms are clean and spatious. Staff is very friendly and service is on high level. No traffic around, so it is very quiet during the night.
