Perfect family-run comfortable hotel for an overnight visit of Meteora. At the end of town (difficult to walk) but very convenient to drive with parking. Very friendly, personable and welcoming service. Gave great tips on sunset and photo spots for Meteora. Recommend.

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff. Not the newest but well maintained and good value.

We stayed for two nights at the Tsiliki and had a great stay. The team on site are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good. The hotel is situated a few kilometres from Kalabaka the main town in the area, but the area does have a few restaurants and bars and lies in the shadows of the amazing Meteora and monasteries. The hotel also arranged a half day tour of the main tourist sites which we would recommend as a private tour direct from the hotel is...

I stayed at Doupiani House for a couple of nights with my parents. After a long day of commuting from Athens, we thought it was just great to get to this lovely hotel and to meet their friendly and helpful personnel. The room was large, clean and the decoration was nice and traditional. It had a balcony with a wonderful view of Meteora. The bathroom was large and modern. The breakfast was good in terms of quantity and quality. But also you can have breakfast in the terrace with a great...

Amazing location close to the famous monasteries. Family business. Very friendly people.

A wonderful place to stay. Lovely location, lovely rooms, breakfast and owner who helped us with everything. Tavernas walking distance and only the sound of bees and birds.

Very good hotel. Room was very comfortable, with a balcony if we needed it. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh choices. Staff were extreme helpful. Parking was easy in the hotel’s car park in front of reception. Good location at the side of the town, a short drive to the monasteries. We didn’t use the hotel facilities except the gym, which was good.

The hotel is perfecly located, near the city center and the meteoras, with a beautiful view on the latter. The city center is accessible by foot and it’s a 10 min drive to the meteoras. Upon arrival we had a very nice welcome by the receptionist. As a matter of fact all people working in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room was spaciuous and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom looks nice but could have been a bit bigger. The main attraction of the hotel would be the breakfast....

Easily a 10/10

Alsos House was very conveniently located right at the bottom of the trail from the monasteries. We had booked 2 double rooms which they upgraded to 2 apartments as there was some renovation work going on. The apartments were very comfortable and are ideal for a family of 4 or even a larger family. They are well equipped with a kitchenette and central heating. The kitchenette is stocked with basic supply of tea, coffee and sugar. The view is excellent. The central market and taxi stand can be...

What a gem, we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and every staff member we interacted with was warm and friendly. Exactly what anyone wants from a hotel. We were delayed arriving, this wasn't an issue from Andreau who welcomed us and gave a great recomendation for dinner. Evie, was working each morning we were there, providing us coffee, and explaining the breakfast options. She was also so helpful with our lost luggage and getting it back. The hotel has 10 rooms, 4 on the ground floor...

Located very close to the monastery road, with very nice view towards the sunset. Nice places to eat nearby

Amazing 🌟

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Nice location

Very large room and bed with sofa, dining table and small kitchen with a fabulous view of the Meteora. Although located in a new part of town it was in fact only 10 minutes walk from the centre which has an abundance of cafes , bars and restaurants. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location is new and, as at June 2024, not properly served by my car satnav or my iPhone map. However google maps worked and the manager sent a link to the Google map app to guide us in. Very pleased...

Excellent location on the main road. Rooms big and nicely kept. The owner's son is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. He suggested our itinerary for the monasteries and arranged for a cab. I highly recommend this hotel to any visitors. We talked with the owner about so many things including tours, Greek economy, weather etc.

The most beautiful place to stay in Meteora. Oh the view! We had the top floor, mountain view apartment. It is so worth paying the extra for one of the top floor rooms. Everything is very high standard. Spotless and modern. Just a few minutes walk to town and to lovely bars, shops and restaurants. Plenty to choose from. Also a short, scenic drive to all the monestaties. We stayed 2 nights and drove up the monestaties both days. We parked our hire car on the street infront of the apartment. We...

Amazing location, friendly staff, great value, view from room was unbelievable!
