It was a wonderful experience staying at the Capitan Resort, David and Dulce were great host's very friendly and attentive the Resort was beautiful and so peaceful the rooms were just amazing. Would definitely be coming back!

We had a Wonderful stay. The Owner was Nice & Very Helpful. We had everything we needed. The Resort was Very Nice & Quite. The suites are Nice & Spacious. I would stay at this location again.

We enjoyed our stay at El Capitan. Dave the owner was great. He communicated with me a few days ahead to ensure our house codes were ready when we arrived. He was easy to reach and shared good recommendations for local eats, places to see and things to do. It was very nice, he checked in with us to see if we needed anything and was on site. Our stay was quiet and private. We felt safe and everyone had a good time. The place was clean and had amenities such as pool, sauna and jacuzzi.Thank you for a great stay.

I really enjoyed staying here the owner was very friendly and let us know he was there for anything, feels safe and is very relaxing, loved the jacuzzi and pool will definitely be coming back. Great service! The room was very nice and big as well for 8 people we all stayed comfortably.

A HIDDEN GEM OF PUERTO NUEVO

If you’re in a small town like Puerto Nuevo and want a nice, private, safe Hotel, look no further! The owner- Dave is an amazing person! Anything we needed he got us… and even offered to drive one of his cars to avoid being pulled over in a flashy car. The rooms have a beautiful ocean view, three Jacuzzis on the property, very nice sauna, an infinity pool, and patios all over with amazing views of the ocean. Don’t forget, this is a boutique hotel so you’ll feel more at home than in a hotel room. Perfect hotel to book if you’re going as a couple or a lot of friends! The whole place will be yours.

I had a fantastic stay at David's place, The Capitan Boutique Resort! He was incredibly nice and helpful, which made my experience even better. As someone who travels a lot, I can confidently say that this place had everything we needed. From a water dispenser and coffee brewer to plenty of extra pillows and blankets, everything was thoughtfully provided. The fully stocked kitchen had all the essentials—spices, pots, pans, and cooking oil, dishes, utensils—making it easy to cook our meals. I even went out to buy hygiene essentials, only to find that David had already stocked the bathroom with everything we could need, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering stunning views of the beach. The rooftop area also featured bathrooms, showers, two jacuzzis, and a sauna—everything was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It’s clear that David has put a lot of work into this place. The location is perfect, just 7 minutes from Puerto Nuevo and very close to all the stores and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again!

Peacefully away from home.

We had an amazing time. Dave, the owner greeted us and helped ( we had an unexpected hiccup with the booking) and resolved it. Getting away from our busy and hectic lives with an autistic child and for her to not have a single anxiety nor panic attack because we were literally like at home said no much about the amazing “Red Panda” room!

Its really nice place great view to the ocean , close to rosarito 10 minutess drive , it also has really clean rooms 👌 like really clean and really big like an apartment 2 rooms 2 bathrooms 1 living room and a big kitchen, really good place to stay and the price are really convenient, has a nice pool wit a great view to the ocean , i will really recommend EL CAPITAN RESORT and give more then 5 🌟 stars Es un buen lugar con una gran vista al oceano, cercas de rosarito 10 minutos manejando, tiene cuartos bien limpios demaciado limpios , son apartamentos de 2 cuartos dos baños y una gran sala con una gran cocina , es un buen lugar para quedarte y pasar unas buenas vacaciones , sus precios son muy flexibles, y una alberca muy limpia en la terrasa con una bonita vista al mar , yo le daria mas de 5 estrellas al CAPITAN RESORT
