"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

Lovely breakfast and so nice that it’s not buffet style , The evening food was excellent so authentic Italian . Spacious well equipped bedrooms , 15 minutes drive from Lucca centre couldn’t be better. We will be back !"

"We wanted a place just outside the Lucca city walls so we could park easily and for free. This place has it! It seems very new and has every amenity we needed, including a mini-fridge.
