"Great place to stay. Amazing breakfast. Room was clean and bed comfortable. They had put the heating on for us and the room was super cosy. Amazing views from the restaurant area. Pool area was immaculate and well kept. The only fault was that there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. We believed it to be from the drain in the shower. This did not affect our stay but we did report it to reception when checking out and they recorded it for maintenance to look at. We will definitely stay here again. Great location for a couple of days away to relax."

"Really great stay and fantastic value for money! The room was very spacious, with a cosy bed and a well-stocked coffee station complete with biscuits. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water, and the portable heater kept the room nice and warm. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but nice, with a good selection of breads, bagels, cereals and expected continental options. The location was fantastic too, just a short walk from the train and bus stations, with plenty of places to eat on the high street and a Lidl across the road. Overall, a very nice stay in a great location at an excellent price. Would happily stay again!"

"Clean room, serviced and freshened up when I went out for the day. Everything you need in the room and the subtle tartan theme was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. Lovely view of the loch. Parking at the front and side of the hotel. A good base for exploring the historic Kilmarton Glen and nearby Argyle Beaver and Wildlife Centre."

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. Nice decor in the room. Evening meal food was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing, not cooked to the same standard of the evening food. Dog friendly. Huge carpark. Fabulous position with views over the bay. Just be aware its a mile past the centre of Helensburgh and it's a lovely walk into town."
