Free parking for all guests behind the hotel was perfect for what I needed. It’s in city centre and across from a club, but with earplugs I slept very well. Nearby shops, restaurants, and a great stay for exploring the region."

"A welcoming and helpful check-in at this stunning Victorian hotel right next to the train station and shops. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cosy with comfy beds, full of amenities. The staff were friendly. Thanks again! (also for storing my mountain bike) :)"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate. The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty of loungers. Looking forward to our next stay. "
