"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. "Lots of random staircases where it is easy to get lost as the signs aren't very clear and the lift didn't work that went to the floor I was on. Room was nice, large fan in the wardrobe which was lovely for the hot nights. Room was generally quiet but right above the wedding venue garden so music was quite loud till quiet late. Bed was comfortable and towels cosy. Breakfast had a lot to choose from and even though it was very busy, items were topped up and replaced before they ran out and a good selection of everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds have beautiful views. Lovely luxury treat."

"a really nice hotel with lots of history, our room was clean, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great, close to the centre, the theatre and the parks so excellent location. Only downside was the hotel lists free parking - yes there is as long as you are parked away from the hotel but only £6 for a permit for the day to park outside the hotel - perhaps this needs mentioning?"
