Friendly Staff,Clean Rooms and Enjoyable Breakfast
The hotel staff was friendly, and the room was a reasonable size and clean. The breakfast offered fresh orange juice and was enjoyable. However, there was a discrepancy in the advertising, as the hotel lacked a swimming pool and rooftop access.

Good evening,The staff is thankful for this advice you gave us however, we dont have any swimming pool in the hotel and its not written on any site rooftop is only accessible when the weather grant it and those last weeks it was not the case. The hotel is in a nice walkable area near shops and restaurants. The staff were nice and helpful. We enjoyed the convenience of sending out our laundry. The only problems are the air conditioning could not keep up and we were hot and uncomfortable all not and parking is available but not included in the price. I had to move my car at various times to take advantage of free street parking from 9pm to 7am.

Hello, We're happy to know everything was good for you during your stay at our hotel ! We're sorry for the air conditioner as we had some problems with it but we assure you that it won't happen anymore. We do our best to satisfy our guest but unfortunately for the parking we cannot do anything for now however there is still 3 parkings (2 outdoors and 1 underground) around the hotel where you can park your car ! Kyriad Thionville
Needed a last minute hotel to stay at en route to ferry next day departing from Travemunde. Hotel was clean and we got two rooms that were connected so worked out well with our two kids. No restaurant in hotel but a breakfast buffet was available on the morning at least. No secure parking available either so parked opposite hotel which didn’t feel completely safe as there were quite a few dodgy characters lurking about. Thionville itself was a pretty run down town with low class restaurants and clientele so after walking around the town for an hour or so it was nice to get back to the hotel.

Nice hotel in the town near to some really good restaurants. However not sure why it is a 4-star as it does not have many facilities.

We were really excited to stay at the hotel because of its perks such as the roof top garden but unfortunately we were told it was closed off for the week and wouldn't be open till the end of the next week which was very annoying. The bedroom AC didn't work. Overall the staff were really friendly which was nice.

Exceeded our expectations!
We stayed our 1st and last night of our vacation since our plane tickets were for round trip to the Luxembourg airport which is a 1/2 hr drive and we had a car. Our vacation was in France. We loved the location, great staff, very nice and modern decor, good space in room and bathroom. We had breakfast both stays. Very nice breakfast room and wonderful food and choices. Hot and cold options. Lovely staff in breakfast room. You can easily squeeze fresh OJ! What a treat. Would absolutely stay again( we did). One more thing, we wanted to eat at a restaurant a couple of minutes walk from the hotel on our return trip that was closed on our 1st visit. We arrived Sat night at 7 and the lovely man at check in offered to see if he could get us in and he did at the time we wanted- it was a very busy night there and a wonderful dining experience and we were so grateful to him for doing it. People were just showing up and they were turning them away.

Was recommended this hotel by family who live locally. The position of the hotel is very good, central and next to a local shopping center. Staff overall are good especially Thomas at reception - he could not do enough for us and is really an asset to the hotel. Big plus is the bar that is open all day and night, but beware, there is a beautiful rooftop terrace available for which you are charged $19 euro an hour (and that does not include drinks)- ridiculous really - the terrace should be available free for hotel guests! Have never heard of this system at all? As for the rooms, a bit disappointing - no bar fridge, shower is awkward to use and we actually had no hot water one late evening - definitely a no-no in this industry. We also had issues with the temperature control in our room - only to find out that ALL room temperatures are controlled centrally by some system so that the temperatures are either set for cool in Summer and warm in winter - problem is we encountered hot weather and the heating setting was still on making our room hideously hot until they could change the whole system over. The hairdryer was dangerous, with a hose that blows the heat through to the handheld dryer, which becomes searing hot whilst in use (why not supply a normal hairdryer?). The BIG problem is this hotel is trying to be energy saving, environmentally friendly with all these whiz bang systems which really do not benefit the hotel guest at all. Probably would not stay there again.

Located above a shopping centre whose carpark shuts at 8pm. Arrived too late to make use of it and parking around the hotel steets was busy. Other than parking hotel was clean and modern. Located very close to local restaurants and shops.

Excellent location, helpful and pleasant front desk, business facilities limited. Extra charge for access to fitness area a surprise. Reception doubled as bar staff. No restaurant. However, good and varied restaurants and bars close by. Generally, good rapport qualité prix. A pleasant stay overall, but more suited to leisure than business.

Ok for the price and star rating. Furniture/decor a little modern and arty but ok for comfort. Wifi works well and tv/stereo good quality. Good position near town center. Town is nice and worth a visit for shopping or some tourism.

Just what I was looking for
My score says it all. The hotel is ideally situated for shops and restaurants and looked as if it was new. I hope it stays like this. We did not eat in the hotel but I was generally very impressed by the package.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, the room was very clean and quite comfortable. The location was also great- just next to car parks and on the shopping street of the small town. The town itself was simply lovely, everyone we talked to was most helpful and kind. All in all, great experience.

Nice Clean hotel in the centre of town
We booked this as a stopover on our way back to England from Italy. We were pleasantly suprised with the hotel. Very clean, looks like it has just been refurbished. Right in the center of town, with 2 car parks very close by. The price was very good, and would definately stay there again.

Modern well-located hotel
The hotel offers excellent value for money, and is ideal for anyone paying a short visit to the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern - but the room we were initially given had a loose toilet seat. On bringing this to the attention of reception, we were immediately allocated another room. The breakfast provided (12 euros) was fine, although hot food was in short supply. There is no restaurant for evening meals, but the hotel is located very near to a number of restaurants in the town. Similarly, there is no allocated parking at the hotel, but it is situated next to an entrance to an underground car park, and opposite a surface car park - so no problem there either!

Must like a european experience.
Our double bed room consisted of a double bed and a roll out. No place luggage racks or storage. Typical eurpean room. Shower in bath was not separated from facilities. Dressing after someone showered turned out to be a wet experience in an unfalttering way.

Bon Hôtel, agéable et surtout idéalement placé au centre ville. Parking payants à proximité mais prix trés raisonnables Seul point à signaler, l'isolation acoustique n'est pas super si vous avez des gens bruyants dans les chambres adjacentes ou des enfants qui courrent et crient dans les couloirs
