Amazing place, definitely going back. Beautiful view, relaxing, close to nature, monkeys and colourful birds. Rooms are spacious. Staff making sure that you are comfortable. Couldn't dream about better holiday.

Vegan Heaven

Wonderful! The only thing in the way of this being total paradise was the sound from the quarry in the opposite hill, which was always there during daylight hours, but in the distance. Very secluded hilltop location, in well-kept grounds. Far-reaching views on all sides of forests and hills. Saw some amazing sunsets, exotic birds, cute chipmunks and little geckos. Very friendly and obliging staff always available. Personal butler even arranged a tuk-tuk and accompanied us into the nearest city, where he and the driver showed us around the temple and helped us with our shopping. He even brought lunch and we had a picnic on the beach. The food was fantastic! Lots of fresh ingredients, straight from the garden! Including pineapples, mangoes, coconuts, herbs and vegetables. Each meal was cooked from fresh. Our amazing chef was trained in cooking western food as well as traditional Sri Lankan dishes. We made the most of trying new flavours. There was no menu, instead each meal was made to order based on what we felt like eating that day. Even when we both ate the same dish, the chef adapted each to our personal preferences for tastes and spices. The two groundsmen were also friendly and carried wooden lounge beds up from the pool, when we wanted to relax in the shade. The pool was cleaned every day, a good size and surrounded by trees and views of the valley. The owner was helpful and welcoming and took my post into town at no extra charge. We had the most relaxing time ever!
