"Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October and wish it had been for longer. The views are exactly as advertised. Simply stunning. We saw seals swimming at the foot of the cliffs, and even had a brief orca sighting. The reclining chairs next to the floor-to-ceiling windows swivel 360 so you can spin around to the view any time. The kitchen is reasonable well equipped. I wish there had been binoculars available but I understand it may be a theft issue. There is even a huge window in the bedroom looking out to the ocean so you can enjoy the view from in there as well. We had a brief power outage, which is apparently common in the area, but there are instructions on how to manage it. Other commenters complain about the construction but honestly it didn't factor into our stay at all. Yes, it's kind of messy in places. But from your suite you will not see any of it. The hiking trails of East Sooke are a short walk away which is very convenient as well. Was surprised how long it took to get into the town of Sooke given you can see the town from the property, so I would recommend bringing groceries in with you because once you are there you will NOT want to leave."
