The Sands

Checked in to one of the newly remodeled king suites... very nice but i will say our AC did not get the whole room cold. Mind you we went in June when the temps were in the 105s our room was constantly stuffy and only cool where the AC was. Overall was a nice trip.

Large contemporary rooms with comfy beds. Nice and quiet in the room. Fairly long line to check in. Requested the balance for the two rooms to be charged on a different credit card than what was used to initially book the room. Not sure the front desk person understood what we were asking. Then, later discovered from housekeeping they had one room checking out one day earlier than the other room, which was incorrect. Both rooms had been booked for the same time period. Had to go to the front desk and find out why they did that. The front desk person had to call someone. He said it had been done by his manager? I think it was done by the front desk person who checked us in. Fortunately he was able to resolve the issue by revising the checkout date.
