We stayed for thee nights with two children Nine and Five years old Was such a beautiful stay everything you require. Clean room and facilities They offer some family board games pool toys and cricket sets also if your heading out to the beach for the day they offer a esky to borrow !! .. was a peace full get away close to township. Easy parking at rear of the complex. Reception Was kind and very helpful.

The Queenslander is very well located and within walking distance to the village, wharf and beach. Staff super friendly and excellent with communication. The apartment is well equipped. My only negative is that it does need a “makeover”. Great barbecue facilities at pool. All in all a great stay

Fabulous Port

We had never been to Port Douglas and took the opportunity after going to a conference in Cairns. What a fabulous place. The hotel accomodation could not be faulted really. Well, maybe the quality of the coffee they provided could be improved and we would have liked a bigger couch, but that's it. The bed was very comfy, the walk in wardrobe was big, the forest views, and the pool area was very modern. The location was only a 10min stroll to the shops and the lady at reception delightful.

Property location was excellent. So was having a laundry facility. Pool was closed. No contingency to have pool available on weekend. Communication by letters on the door was terrible. Noisy patrons not attended to. Fridge and water pipes and bed will need an update.

Trevlig lägenhet i liten bungalow med all utrustning man kan önska. Välstädat och fräscht. Fin uteplats med möbler och härlig liten pool. Fin uppvuxen liten trädgård runt boende och pool så man känner sig i en liten grön oas. Gångavstånd till centrum med restauranger och butiker. Återkommer gärna. Vi var där bara 2 nätter men skulle fungera utmärkt för längre vistelse

Had a lovely stay at Queenslander, the lady and daughter that run the Queenslander are extremely helpful and so knowledgeable of Port Douglas and surrounding areas, the rooms have all amenities so spacious , definitely would come back to Queenslander, 10 out of 10 for me.

Great place. 5 minute walk from everything in Port Douglas. Pool is very nice and host provided beach towels to use, as well as directions and suggestions on where to go. In unit washer and dryer was a bonus!

We stayed in November for a total of 5 nights. The room was way better than we reserved and we could stay there for extra two nights for the original price per night! Close to the marina and close enough to the "main" street. Nice pool area, helpful staff, but reception could be open a little longer...

Nettes kleines Hotel.

Nettes kleines Hotel. Das Bad könnte allerdings mal wieder überholt werden. Insbesondere der Wäschetrockner hat das ganze Bad in eine Dampfsauna verwandelt. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst. Man darf allerdings nicht vergessen, dass die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Gegend allen Häusern zu schaffen macht.

Great location - close to the marina and restaurants but on a quiet street. Our room was very well appointed and included a washer and drier. Our hosts Damien and Rosemary were very friendly, helpful and responsive - they helped us with booking our tours and shuttle service back to Cairns

Great location - within walking distance to Macrossan street. Comfortable room - two bedroom with kitchen & lounge area. Was quite spacious & clean. Just needs a touch up - ie new taps, new toilet seat, new shower head. Midstay cleaning was only a change of bed linen and new towels. Didn't receive a new supply of coffee, tea, soaps etc. Although upon asking we were given them - at no cost. Pool was clean & quite nice - not as big as in photos. Free Wifi which helps with teens. Staff were helpful and friendly.
