Pleasantly surprised with everything about our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating, room was better than expected, nice roof terrace and right next to a ferry port so easy access to Brooklyn or if you’d like to get a $4.50 ride up to Roosevelt and get the cable car over to Manhattan.
Only 2 downsides but wouldn’t put me off staying again:
1. Shower does overflow into the rest of the wet room unless you put a towel down as a barrier.
2. A little further from a subway for commuting to the rest of the city than we are used to when staying in NY. Depending on where you are going, one is 5 mins away and the other is 10 minutes away. But like I said, the ferry is an amazing alternative.
