The Dalles Trip

Kitchen well-equipped. Easy to move around the downtown. However, it might be tricky to find since check in location is in a different hotel

Unfortunately, downtown Portland is not the city it was!

It was classy, and nice but when I went to shower there was no hot water😢 so that brought the rating down... and the 2 clowns at the front desk thought they were comedians..! Trav, over and out a here...😩

Very convenient SmartPark right across the street, and very comfortable bed and linings. Cool looks and feeling by the room.

It had been years since I stayed here and wanted to revisit because of the location. While I didn't dislike the stay, a few things could and would have made it much better. Housekeeping missed quite a bit of details that would have made the stay more comfortable. My room was a bit dusty. The glasses/mugs weren't washed/cleaned properly. Apparently the room hadn't been vacuumed thoroughly since there were crumbs and clothing stands visible throughout. The biggest issue was the mold in the shower, which I brought up to the front desk and they insisted it was not removable. I was able to scrape it and remove a small bit , so I'm confident that they could have also. Spray it with bleach or ammonia (I suggested that). That was apparently ignored even after I was told someone would come by. Not expecting perfection, but another set of eyes should be sent to make sure the job is being done correctly.
