"We stayed in the family cabin. It was truly delightful. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the location was beautiful. We loved that they were pet people and had no problems having our 2 dogs with us. I wanted to stay longer!"

"It was a great place to stay. Although it is an older building it is very well maintained and everything to make our stay comfortable. They were very accommodating to us as we arrived late. It was very much appreciated!"
"I enjoyed the morning coffee in lobby, I’m up early and went down to lobby and staff member behind desk was very helpful in getting me my hot coffee!!"
"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Fay is a gem! She made sure we got the best fees we could at Old Works and made sure we were able to choose the room we wanted. Would recommend."
"Returning to Butte after 30+ years to show my son where his grandpa grew up was incredibly special. Since he's a history buff who loves antiques, the Finlen was the perfect choice. We stayed in the historic hotel (not the motel section), and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
We arrived about an hour early on a Tuesday, and since our room was ready, check-in was quick and friendly. I loved getting actual metal room keys instead of key cards. The Art Deco lobby is beautiful, authentic, and spotless.
The biggest surprise was our room. I thought I'd only been given one bed until I turned the corner and realized there was a second bedroom across the hall with another queen bed and even an extra quarter bath! Each room had its own TV, desk, and closet. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were exceptionally clean, and the ceiling fans kept everything pleasant.
Parking was easy, and even when the lot filled up later in the week, street parking across the street felt perfectly safe.
The hotel has so much character. I loved the old transom windows above the doors and would love to see them restored someday;they add so much historic charm. My closet even had a pull-chain light and just the right amount of spooky atmosphere. Speaking of spooky...I used a novelty ghost app before bed and got the message, "Please leave." I slept with the Disney Channel on that night! The next morning it simply said, "Love." Mixed messages from the ghosts, I guess.
100% will stay here again!"
