Perfect location, right on an empty gorgeous palm fringed beach. The resort is set in beautiful gardens and the bungalows are very well appointed and beautiful. Staff are excellent. All the facilities are first rate. Guaranteed to have a perfect stay here and a highlight of our trip to Myanmar.

Overall this is an absolutely lovely resort. It is on the north side of the beach and is extraordinarily quiet. Nearly desolate for most of my stay. I might recommend paying the money for a single cabin rather than a duplex as gets walls are paper thin and one can hear every peep and footstep of your neighbors. This is not a swimmable beach but it is excellent for long walks and beach combing. The food is OK. The last two days I was there a large French tour group arrived and there were more options for food. There aren’t really many additional options nearby. One hut on the beach that serves fresh caught seafood is recommended and there are a few places in town past the airport but one needs transportation to get there. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway you can’t ask for more. But if you need a little more action Ngapali may not be for you.

Amara Ocean Resort was lovely, well decorated and equipped in a quiet part of Ngapali Beach. The beach and coastlines were pristine and amazingly picturesque. We had a nice stay at the resort for 5 days. What made our stay extra nice was the helps of Thur Tar Aung at the front desk. Tar Aung was very helpful and made our stay extra pleasant, from the moment we checked in, to helping to arrange our transportation needs, to the time when checking out. Thank you Tar Aung

周りには何もない静かな場所でした。外のレストランに行くにも車を手配する必要があります。必然的にホテルのレストランを利用しましたが、シーフードカレーの味はよかった。ただし、初日と二日目の単価が異なっており、2種類のメニューを使い分けられているようで、気分の良い滞在ができませんでした。

Fantastic chalet on the beach front - it was down the quieter end of Ngapali beach which is why we chose it. Had a free airport transfer which was useful. Amazing view from the chalet of the beach (even though we were not even front row chalet so cheaper) and literally less than 25m away from the beach front and ocean. Never really eat in hotels but had dinner here and was happy with the locality and quality. Free 10 min massage offered too. Overall, would recommend!

Private oasis & gorgeous property

The resort is located in a private, quiet part of the bay just north of the airport & within easy biking or very inexpensive cab ride to the busy touristy area. It’s gorgeous & well maintained with friendly staff. The inclusive breakfast had a wonderful & varied selection. Dinner was beautifully presented but disappointing in taste ( perhaps slightly westernized). Just north,on the beach, there’s a fabulous seafood hut called Silver Wave. It has simple grilled fresh catch & wonderful local salads. Further north by bike is a beautiful little village worth seeing. A wonderful resort for peace & quiet. The beach is very rocky in the region but Amara has a nice swimming stretch.

By far the nicest hotel in ngapali. Located in a secluded area, on a pristine beach, with a decent snorkeling spot. Bungalows on stilts all have views, are very large and furnished with taste with local materials only (no concrete) Dont be fooled by old reviews, it's improved a lot. Well worth the tiny price differential with other hotels in the other side of the airport.

Bestes Hotel an menschenleerem Strand

Das Hotel liegt sehr einsam an einem traumhaften menschenleeren Strand, wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist dort perfekt aufgehoben. Leider gibt es ringsrum nicht viel, 300 entfernt ist eine Fischbude am Strand, die täglich frischen Fisch anbietet. Das Essen im Hotel hat westliches Preisniveau, ist aber sehr lecker. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, gute Spaanwendungen, Fahrräder zu leihen, 4 Stunden am Tag kostenlos.
