"I very much loved this beautiful place! It's situated in a neighborhood that looks completely like what I expected Iceland to look like. The staff there were all very, very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. And the water view allowed me a most beautiful view of the sunset, so peaceful and restful! I'd stay here again the next time I visit. "karuna Guesthouse was one of our favorite properties. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. They room was SPOTLESS and large with a tea kettle, tv, full bathroom and hairdryer!! They have thought of everything! There is a free breakfast included, and also use of a kitchen. A superbly clean and wonderful place to stay!!"

"This is a sweet quirky little chalet style hotel. It was built in 1833 ish and has some cool historical photos on the walls. It was fun to stay here for a night here after staying in more typical boutique hotels the rest of our trip. The receptionist was friendly and helped us find a place to eat near by when we arrived late, that we walked to. Breakfast was served in a tavern type space and was also wonderful.
