"They let us check in early and helped us get a 2 hour taxi when the trains went on strike. Everyone was great. Dinner starts later so be prepared for most restaurants to open at 8 pm"

"A very nice hotel in a great location in the heart of Sperlonga, the hotel being right on the beach. Sun loungers and parasols on the adjacent beach are included in the hotel price as is parking in the secured car park. All staff very pleasant and friendly."

"Family stayed for two nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Alberto the "Captain" of Hotel Poseidon whose hospitality was excellent. The Hotel is just steps from the beach. The breakfast was very good (overlooking the outdoor pool). We had a maintenance issue with the stove in our unit and it was promptly fixed. Air conditioning was excellent. The building and facilities are older, but clean and well-maintained. There is a 24-hour grocery store a few minutes' walk from the hotel. My suggestion to management regarding the breakfast plates and glasses — when they are washed in a dishwasher along with dishes that have eggs on them an unpleasant smell is transferred to other dishes especially glasses and cups. It would be best if you wash items that served eggs separately. Thank you."

"be aware as they put a lot of road blocks and charge for everything, even basic stuffs. You may need to bring your own towels if don't want to be charged. Like, in order to go to the swimming pool, they charge 3 euros per day for each towels and also requires to use head cover and allows to use from 9:30am to 7pm. You are not allowed to bring it to your unit as they charge per :day". Other hours the pool is closed, even though the sunset is almost 8:30pm and hot as hell (34°C). to use a simple beach chair, they charge 16 euros for 2 chairs and also put a timeframe from 9:30am to 7pm. Its all about riles and notices and enforcements, looks like you ara in an army barracks. Inside the elevator there is a signing requiring you to pay any outstand bills the day before by 10PM (not sure if they are afraid notreceiveing the payment??) The elevator is very small and the staff use for daily cleaning. good luck if you have to bring your luggage upstairs or downstairs as they hold BOTH elevators for their own use. I dont mind blowing one of two (one for customers and the other for staff when they need to move heavy equipment) but looks like the customer is not their priority. Everyone is a cash cow. Definitely not recommend."
